A NIGHT OF HORROR

How happy they were one twilight time,
            When they reached their rendezvous,
Where birds are constantly happily twittering
Where the zypher is permanently blowing
Making their change meeting a happier one.

Uncle thought believed that there was no change
            In his beloved one,
Because she behaved as usual -
Like three years ago from that time of their change
                     meeting,
In spite of the absence of any communication.
They enjoyed very much recollecting their by
                     gone days,
Their yesteryear's since the beginning of
                     engagement,
            When they were yet in their high school;
And then in their college days.

Time passed unnoticed and still they kept on telling
Regardless of the bites of mosquitoes
And the chilly winds, which seemed to drive them home,
            To be away from danger.

But ah! the devils won by holding them,
Pushing them to the depth of danger,
For to suddenly, uncle the father
            Of the girl, came unnoticed
Pointing to them a gun in one hand,
And a police night-stick in the other.
