OF MAN AND OF HUMILITY

is to make a right estimate of one's self. It is no humility for a man ...

            From nature man has much to learn,
                  of humility examples that abound!

            In the field with rice abloom,
            Bow the grain-filled stalks
            Tall and erect those with only husks

            In the grove, the taller it grows, the
                  lower the bamboo bends no
                  longer unyielding void of pretense.

            The proverbial silent water;
            Our Lord in the Manger;
            And only bits of reminder;
            "Man be humble be great
