Three for my mouth and for my ears.
One for my nose right
on my face,
Two for my eyes in the very same place.
That have been with me all these years.
Four for my arms and
legs together.
They’re served me well in all kinds of weather.
Five for the fingers of my right hand,
They’re the best servants in the land,
Six for my left-hand fingers plus a toe.
I take them with me wherever I go,
Seven for my right foot and toes, plus my head.
Eight if I add two other toes instead,
Nine for all my fingers minus one
Ten when all fingers join the fun,
Funny how many things can be
In just one single, solitary Me.
