THE THREE WISE MEN

We Three Kings

Once on a clear, starry night,
Three wise men on their camels rode,
Guided by a star so bright
To the child that had been foretold

Long was their journey and dreary,
Yet in their hearts there was a song,
For they knew at the end of the way.
Hope, faith and joy would come along.

Humbly they knelt by the manger,
Worshipping the baby on the hay.
Their gifts – gold, frankincense, and myrrh,
Were offered to him that Christmas day
